[1] Types of gas and gas appliances

City gas (13A) (①) and LP gas (②) are available in this area.

The type of gas supported is clearly indicated on gas appliances.

It is dangerous if gas appliances do not match the type of gas.

[2] When using gas appliances

Be sure to provide ventilation when using gas appliances.

Do not leave gas stoves unattended.

Do not use a small water heater as a shower.

Do not place flammable items in the area around gas appliances.

If you think you smell gas, do not use the gas, and call the Toho Gas Network.

Be sure that someone who understands Japanese contacts us.

[3] Gas taps and connecting devices

Be sure to close gas taps that are not being used and plug them with a rubber stopper.

Fire hazard may result if the gas tap is mistakenly opened.

Be sure to connect gas appliances correctly to the gas tap.

[4] When installing gas appliances

Do not perform gas pipe construction yourself as it may lead to gas leaks.

Special qualifications are required for gas pipe construction and water heater installation. Ask Toho Gas.
